The historical center of Bibbona dates back to the Etruscan age. Yet the first signs of human life in this area date back to the Villanovan age. Among the picturesque narrow lanes and alleys and modest piazza’s you will find stunning sights. Visit the eleventh-century Pieve di Sant’Ilario with its original trapezoid form. The Renaissance church of Santa Maria della Pietà is also very beautiful. It holds many important paintings and marble furnishings. If you manage to visit here between March and April, participate at the traditional celebrations, the historical procession and the Palio delle Botti.
