The coast of the province of Livorno is made up of perpendicular promontories alternating with sandy inlets. Behind them there is the verdant Mediterranean "Macchia". With its wide beaches of thin sand, Marina di Bibbona is just situated in the heart of the Etruscan Coast. The private beach, equipped by sun umbrellas and sun chairs, (01.05-20.10)is at 200 metre from the hotel and it can be reached by foot following the path in the pine forest which passes through our park.
For our guests there is a direct access to the beach, avoiding you to cross the road, walking in the shadow of the vegetation. The footpath is suitable for disabled persons too.
A lifeguard is always available and will provide for safety and assistance.
The beach has a playground for children: with little houses and slides.
On the back of Marina di Bibbona beach there are the typical Mediterranean scrub sand bars and the dunes.
The role of the sand bars, that formed in the past century, is that to protect inland cultivations from sea winds and sea salt and are constituted by a low vegetation that separates the beach from the inland.
The Commun of Bibbona has been awarded since 2003 by the Blue Flag. The Blue Flag is an environmental award, given to communities that make a special effort to keep their beaches clean. As well as the Commun of Bibbona obtained in 2004 by Legambiente the award 4 vele, 4 sails for the quality of its sea water.
