The Etruscans Coast boasts a century-old tradition and combines the rural culture and products with sea and fishing culture, giving birth to a genuine, nourishing and extremely various cuisine.

Many delicious recipes of the Etruscans Coast have fish as their main ingredient: the most popular fish soup is the “caciucco alla livornese” (Livorno style caciucco), followed by the sepia rise, Livorno style mullets, giltheads, dentexes, bluefish, octopus and cuttlefish.

At 5 kilometres from the Hotel Marinetta there is the famous avenue of Bolgheri’s cypresses, where on both sides of the avenue there are the Sassicaia vineyards and the wineries producing Ornellaia wine.
At short distance the oil mills show the cold pressed extra virgin olive oil production, true quality product of our area.

At the hotel restaurant “Ombra della Sera” (Evening shadow) the guests will have the possibility to taste some of our culinary traditions specialities.

The paths of the great cuisine, of the very great wines and very good extra virgin olive oil are a different way to discover our land.
