The biggest event of the Tuscan city called Venice Effect, and starring one of the most characteristic neighborhoods of the city: The Venice Neighborhood. It 'a great festival for all ages and is held between late July and early August

 

The Venice (or Venezia Nuova) is one of the historical center of Livorno, located near the New Fortress and is crossed by waterways (ie the "Medicean Fossi", built at the time of the Medici to facilitate the transport of goods), with bridges crossing and small squares, the district vaguely reminiscent of the Venetian lagoon, from which it takes its name.

 

 

The event lasts for several days, during which alternate performances of various kinds: theatrical and musical events, exhibitions and cultural events.

 

The District La Venice, for the occasion, is filled with stalls of crafts, antiques and gift items, food stands and eateries. Even the locals of the area apparecchiano the outdoor tables and all eat al fresco whilst enjoying the picturesque scenery of La Venezia from Livorno lit in celebration.
